Hello,
I am a RN who is working on my master’s degree. One of my assignments is to follow a bill through government. I chose to follow the “The Maximizing Optimal Maternity Services for the 21st Century Act (HR 5807) aka MOMS 21. I have found some information that Midwives are supportive of this at a national level but am having trouble finding additional involvement at the local and state level. Does your group have any knowledge about this bill and if not can you assist me by providing additional options on who to contact for information?
My daughter who is very involved in the push for midwives suggested I contact you. She and I both are avid supporters of Homebirth options for mothers as well as VBAC options.
Thank You
